There are 3 key goals to the build out of my youth sports performance programs: 1) Reduce Risk of Injury 2) Build a Strength Foundation 3) Get Faster/Jump Higher Phase 1 of the Elite Performance Offseason Training Plan will help your young athlete establish a training baseline while incorporating injury prevention techniques. Phase 2 focuses on explosive, "game-like" movements. In Phase 2, the exercises build from the strength base the athletes established in phase 1. For this training plan you will need or have access to: -1 fitness mat -2-4 cones -1 speed & agility ladder -1 jump rope -1 pair of light dumbbells or 1 medicine ball (10lbs or less for both) -1 flat bench or plyometric box (18" or 20")
