"Leg day" or "Chest day" style of training focuses on muscle hypertrophy where you'll perform 3-4 sets of an exercise targeting a specific muscle group. The goal is to use a weight or resistance just heavy enough to allow the muscles to fatigue at the end of the allotted reps.
