Volleyball Performance Stage 1 brings you sport specific performance training like no other. This well-rounded program combines flexibility, mobility, strength, speed and power to help you perform and move your best on the court no matter what position you play.
This is a 12-week weight training program broken up into two stages. Phase 1 of the program concentrates on building foundational strength and movement techniques. In phase 2, the program is geared towards strength development and force production. If your goal is to jump higher, get to your spots quicker and stay healthy year round, follow the program guidelines step by step for the best results.
During this 6-week phase of training, you will develop mobility and strength in all areas needed to be explosive absorb force and reduce risk of injury. The overall goal is to address the unique needs and demands of the sport so that we are explosive, quick and healthy all year long. In order to do so, a we must establish baseline strength, functional range of motion, and key in on injury reduction techniques.
The goals of phase 1 of the Volleyball Performance Stage 1 Program:

+ Establish stability in the lower body and learn what it feels like to activate the core
+ Build strength to maximize jump mechanics and force potential
